Kellie Pickler – with her quick wit and engaging personality – is the perfect star for live television.  In the first-ever LIVE episode of The Collection, Wednesday, January 18 at 8 p.m. Eastern, Kellie sits down with host Storme Warren to talk about the making of several of the music videos in her catalog.  The platinum singer/songwriter has made videos for many of her top hits including “Best Days of Your Life,” a song she co-wrote with Taylor Swift, “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You,” and “I Wonder.”

Throughout the telecast, members of the TV and viral audience will have the opportunity to submit questions to Kellie via GAC’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/GAC (clicking on the ‘Kellie Pickler chat’ tab).  The questions chosen will be sent to Storme’s on-set iPad and he will share them with his guest.

Following the one-hour show, Kellie will continue engaging fans through an online chat on the GAC Facebook page.

“We loved the idea of doing something live and interactive with Kellie, an artist our fans have loved since she released “Red High Heels,” said GAC GM/SVP Sarah Trahern. “She is often at the top of our fan-voted chart and when Kellie and Storme get together for a live hour of television, who knows what will happen?”

Didn’t you know how much we love her? Kellie Pickler takes part in this week’s edition of GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown, but she’s not just making a guest appearance. She’ll actually join Nan Kelley to co-host the run-down of the genre’s top videos.

Kellie knows a thing or two about making successful videos. She’s frequently among the five biggest titles on the Top 20 list, and “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You” is still at No. 8 this week, five months after it first appeared among fans’ favorites.

The fastest way to a Nashville recording contract, it appears, is to do well on “American Idol,” and nowhere is that more apparent than this weekend’s edition of GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown, hosted this week by Suzanne Alexander. Three former “Idol” contestants — Carrie Underwood, Danny Gokey and Kellie Pickler — own the top four slots on the list.

Carrie’s former No. 1 video, “Cowboy Casanova,” regains the top spot from the Zac Brown Band, while her emotional “Temporary Home” clip makes its debut on the chart at No. 2. Kellie Pickler reamins at No. 4 with her Caribbean-shot “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You.” And Danny makes his first chart appearance at No. 3 with “My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me.”

Music and love have both been hailed as a universal language, but Kellie Pickler discovered there’s one more: tag.

That’s right, the kids game. And Kellie discovered that when her nine-year-old brother, Eric, tagged along at the video shoot for “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You,” which took place in the Dominican Republic.

Kellie Pickler Expands Her World

Blonde and boisterous Kellie Pickler has frequently professed her appreciation of Dolly Parton, and the North Carolina native seems to have the same approach to the world as Dolly, who grew up across the stateline in neighboring Tennessee.

“I’m from a small town, but I don’t think small town,” Kellie told The Raleigh News & Observer. “I’ve always thought bigger. I’ve always wanted to travel the world and learn about other cultures and their religions and how they live. I’ve always been interested in the world. I think my biggest fear in life has always been to settle — to settle with a career and a lifestyle that I’m not completely happy about. … There’s nothing wrong with staying in a small town. But if you get a chance to step outside, go ahead and do it. That small town is always going to be there.”
