The Christmas season can be a little stressful for many and late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon along with country superstar John Rich have mixed up the perfect holiday antidote to dysfunctional family gatherings with their hilarious Christmas duet, “Drunk on Christmas.” After an overwhelming response from John’s surprise guest appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last week their classically inappropriate holiday duet is available exclusively on iTunes starting today.
Written by Gerard Bradford and Jimmy Fallon, “Drunk on Christmas” is the ultimate holiday tune full of yuletide spirited references and of course, the ultimate remedy to get through the season with the catchy sing-along line, “gonna get drunk, drunk, drunk on Christmas.” John made a surprise visit last Thursday, decked out in a red velvet Santa costume and gold cowboy boots, to help his friend Jimmy Fallon shed some Christmas cheer with the upbeat song.

David popped one over the fence during a celebrity softball game Monday in Angel Stadium during the festivities surrounding Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game.
His homerun is just one of numerous current sports-related items in country music, including Big Kenny’s World Cup debut and Taylor Swift’s shot at induction into a hall of fame.

You’ve probably heard by now, Taylor Swift is set to pull double duty as both the host and musical guest this weekend on NBC’s Saturday Night Live (SNL). Taylor joins a short list of superstars including Sting, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake that have filled both shoes on the show. The last time a female country artist was tapped to both host and perform was Dolly Parton, 20 years ago.
Last Monday night, Taylor made a special guest appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and got some great advice from the SNL vet. Continue Reading
