Dierks Bentley is hitting the road. The first leg of his Riser Tour will kick off May 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina with special guests Chris Young, Chase Rice and Jon Pardi. Tickets to select dates will go on sale January 24 as part of tour promoter Live Nation’s Country Megaticket at www.Megaticket.com.

“This tour is the culmination of everything I’ve been working on for the past two years, both out on the road and in the studio recording Riser,” Dierks said. “I know what my fans want: a kick ass show, an affordable ticket and a good parking lot scene to get the pre-gaming going! The guys opening the show and getting the party started all know how to put on a great live show, and when it comes time for my set, I can promise that we are going big! I have never been more excited about a tour.” Continue Reading

Jon Pardi’s dream became a reality this week when he released his debut album, Write You a Song, on January 14. Featuring his current hit “Up All Night,” the album is a little bit of everything, reflective of the California native’s journey to Nashville.

“It’s country,” he said. “It’s rock and roll. It’s love songs. It’s beer drinkin’ songs. We had a lot of songs we wanted on the album, but we just didn’t have enough room and these ones just made more sense. It was tough, but I’m so excited it’s coming out.” Continue Reading

Jon Pardi will release his debut album, Write You a Song, on January 14. The project, featuring his single “Up All Night,” is the product of thousands of miles of blood, sweat and hard work. He moved from his hometown in California to Nashville to pursue his music dreams.

“That was a big move,” he said. “It’s not just moving six hours. It was 3500 miles of driving. It was three days. So, [being] the new guy in town, [and I'm] trying to find a place to live, trying to find cool people to hang out with, and then you got to try to find a gig, and you got to write songs, and you got to find co-writers.” Continue Reading

Jon Pardi Won’t Be Home for Christmas

Jon Pardi will be doing Christmas a little differently this year. Instead of heading home to California to be with his family, he plans to remain in Nashville to have surgery on his knee to repair his meniscus, an injury left over from a previous knee surgery on his ACL. He still plans to be in the Christmas spirit, however.

“I’m going to get my own Christmas tree and some Christmas tree lights, and I’m going to play some Christmas music,” he said. “I’ll probably Facetime my family, and just make the best of it and get all my friends and roommates who’ll be here and we’re gonna have a Christmas party. Continue Reading

Jon Pardi has released his new music video for his latest single, “Up All Night.” Filmed outside of Nashville near Montgomery Bell State Park, the video was directed by the Edde Brothers, who also directed his debut “Missin’ You Crazy” video as well as his “My Name Is Jon” webisode series. The clip stays true to song’s storyline and includes Jon’s friends as well as his dog, Cowboy.

“I had a vision of where I wanted the video to go and I feel like we hit every aspect of the song, which doesn’t always happen in music videos, so it’s cool,” he said. “I’ve worked with the Edde Brothers for a while now, and I think they did an awesome job bringing the song to life.”

Justin Moore struck out on his first headlining tour earlier this year and brought Dustin Lynch and Jon Pardi along as special guests. Having opened for everyone from Blake Shelton to Miranda Lambert to Eric Church, Justin has learned how he wants to treat his opening acts.

“They were all great,” he said. “Everybody did things a little different. Everybody was great to me in their own right, whether or not we should have been out there. Everybody treated us with the utmost respect, as if we deserved to be where we were.” Continue Reading

Justin Moore Plans to Pay Touring Lessons Forward

Justin Moore

Justin Moore is headlining his own Outlaws Like Me Tour these days, but before his name was on the marquee, he had a chance to open tours for the likes of Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. He learned a lot from each tour headliner — but one lesson has stuck with him .

“Every time I’ve went out and been an opening act playing for twenty minutes, every headliner made me feel like I was a very important part of their tour and what they were doing,” he said. “I think when you treat people with respect they tend to give it right back to you. They go out and put on a great show and wanna do like we’ve wanted to do over the years. They wanna go out there and put on a heck of a show, obviously, for themselves, but they also want people to leave there going, “Man. What a great tour that Justin’s having.”

Justin Moore will launch his first headlining tour tonight in Pikeville, Kentucky. He’ll be joined on his Outlaws Like Me Tour by special guests Dustin Lynch and Jon Pardi. Justin knows Dustin well and is excited to hang out with him on the road.

“We’ve gotten to know each other over the years and he’s opened a lot of shows for us,” Justin said of Dustin. “That’ll be an easy, good fit for us. He’s having a lot of success right now with his first single being a top five record and I think his second single is headed that direction too so we’re fortunate to have him out with us.” Continue Reading

Justin Moore & Wife Kate Want More Kids — Later

Justin Moore

Justin Moore and wife Kate are the proud parents of two daughters — Ella, who just turned three; and Kennedy, who is a year old. Justin, who was an only child, is excited that his children will grow up with siblings. While he’d like a son one day, he’s also okay if he remains outnumbered in the household.

“I would be fine with all girls if they were all healthy or all boys, it doesn’t matter to me,” he said. “I’d obviously like to have at least one boy and if the rest were girls, that’s fine. As long as they’re healthy and we can have some more, I’ll be happy.” Continue Reading
