GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown was hot this week! Host Nan Kelley headed to Louisville to catch up with Miranda Lamberton her On Fire Tour and also got to chat with Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann. Plus, Rascal Flatts shared secrets from the set of their “Banjo” video, all while Nan counts down the Top 20 videos of the week! Miss Friday night’s premiere? Check the schedule for re-airs throughout the weekend!
On the chart this week, Carrie Underwood claims the top spot with her new video, “Good Girl.” Alan Jackson is the lone male in the Top 5, coming in at No. 2 while Lauren Alaina, Miranda Lambert and Katie Armiger round out the first five videos on the countdown. New videos from Love and Theft and Josh Turner make their debuts this week at No. 17 and No. 18 respectively.
Josh Turner’s upcoming tour will be sponsored by Cracker Barrel from now through December 2012. Josh will kick things off April 12 in Knoxville, Tennessee and will crisscross the country until the end of the year. In addition to the tour sponsorship, there is another project between Josh and the restaurant chain in the works, but details are not yet available.
“We sponsored Josh’s tour and released the CD Josh Turner Live at the Ryman in 2007, and we’re very pleased to be traveling down the road with him a second time,” Julie Craig, Cracker Barrel Marketing Manager, said. “He’s an indelible part of country music and we are proud to continue our association with such a talented, grounded, and genuine artist. We’re looking forward to working on another new project with Josh later this year, but we’re not quite ready to share the details on that just yet.” Continue Reading
Josh Turner’s brand new video, “Time Is Love,” debuted today on GAC and you can watch it here as well! In the video, Josh heads to the office, visits the auto shop and plays basketball with his buddies. All the while, their significant others are waiting for them at home, sending texts, pictures and Facebook posts to let them know they’re thinking of them and to hurry home.

The Today Show is going country next week while co-host Kathie Lee Gifford is on vacation. Josh Turner will again join Hoda Kotb as co-host during the fourth hour of Today on March 19. ”I’m looking forward to co-hosting again with my beautiful Egyptian goddess!” Josh said. “It’s always a blast for me.”
The pair will talk about Josh’s new single, “Time Is Love,” as well as touring, his family, and songwriting. Josh’s new video for “Time Is Love” will debut on March 19 as well at 10/9 AM CT and airing throughout the day.
Josh isn’t Hoda’s only country co-host for the week though. Lee Brice will take over co-hosting duties from Josh on March 20. Hoda selected Lee’s hit “Love Like Crazy” for her iHoda Playlist in April of 2011 and nearly a year later, Hoda extended an invitation to Lee to join her on set.
“I’m really excited to co-host with Hoda,” Lee said. “I love that she loves country music and shares it with the world on her ‘iHoda Playlist.’ Buckle up Hoda, we’re gonna have some fun!”
