Maggie Rose can add “Emmy winner” to her list of accomplishments. She recently won an Emmy for her song “Get Ya Game One” which she wrote for Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of the Washington Redskins’ 2013 season. A native of Potomac, Md., Maggie grew up a Redskins fan and was honored to be asked to write the song and film its music video.

Maggie Rose has debuted a new video for her latest single, “Looking Back Now.” Filmed in Nashville and directed by Kristin Barlowe, the edgy clip brings to life the song’s lyrics chronicling a woman’s journey to death row.

Set against dark backdrops, the song addresses murder, rape and ultimately, death. Close up shots of Maggie dramatically portraying the emotions of each verse make up the clip which includes the use of unconventional props such as a pistol and a body bag.
