Today, Jewel and husband Ty Murray told People magazine they’re having a boy. They announced the pregnancy — their first child — on Jan. 11.

People.com has the first wedding photo of Kellie Pickler and her new husband, songwriter Kyle Jacobs. Kellie told the magazine that as they were planning a big Nashville wedding, it became too overwhelming.
“When two people get married, it’s not about the glamour,” said Kellie to People. ”It’s about the bride and groom and God.”
Kellie and Kyle decided to elope to Antigua and had a sunset wedding. “We didn’t have anything but us and God and our minister,” she said of the ceremony, “and I can’t think of a word that can quite describe how perfect it was.”

Congrats to singer/songwriter Jewel and her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray, who are having a baby! Jewel announced the happy news to People magazine, after finding out she was pregnant on the set of her new job as co-host of the Bravo reality show, Going Platinum. She’s now in her second trimester.
“I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!” Jewel, 36, tells People.com. “It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I’d start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, ‘Oh, she’s pregnant.’ ” Continue Reading

Carrie Underwood is now also known as Carrie Fisher. Carrie and Ottawa Senators player Mike Fisher were married today at a luxury resort in Greensboro, Ga.
According to People magazine, Carrie, 27, and Mike, 30, said their vows before 250 friends and family in a ceremony featuring classical music and the couple’s favorite Bible readings.
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” the newlyweds told the magazine in a statement, signing their names “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”
The bride wore a Chantilly lace dress created for her by Monique Lhuillier, who also designed the bridesmaids’ dresses. USA Today reported the guest list included Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.
Back in March, Carrie told People that with their busy schedules, she and Mike would “be little nomads for a while” and that they would keep homes in Nashville and Peterborough, Ontario.

People magazine reports that after five years of dating, Blake Shelton finally popped the question to sweetheart Miranda Lambert.

Chely Wright has announced to People magazine she is gay. Chely, who topped the charts with her song, “Single White Female” in 1999 and was the ACM’s Top New Female Vocalist in 1994, tells the magazine why she’d previously hidden her sexuality.
“There had never, ever been a country music artist who had acknowledged his or her homosexuality,” she explains. “I wasn’t going to be the first.”
Chely adds, “Nothing in my life has been more magical than the moment I decided to come out.”
The singer songwriter – who will release her new CD, Lifted Off the Ground, and her memoir, Like Me, tomorrow – grew up in Kansas and always knew she wanted to be an artist. She also knew she should probably hide her sexuality. “I don’t have a memory in my life that doesn’t include the dream of making music.” She tells People. “I hid everything for my music.”

Congratulations to Rascal Flatts‘ Joe Don Rooney and wife Tiffany Fallon, who announced via People magazine that they’re expecting their second child.
“We’re a little more prepared but the same excitement is there,” says Joe Don, already dad to 21-month-old son Jagger Donovan. “There’s such fulfillment in being a father and it’s going to be two-fold now, which is so cool.”
Tiffany, 35, told Joe Don, 34, the big news while they were staying at the same Los Angeles hotel where she revealed she was expecting Jagger.
“It was late January and we were out by the pool chilling and she said, ‘I have something to show you,’ and she opened her purse and pulled out the stick with the positive sign,” says Joe Don. “I was like ‘Wow! We’re going to have to stop coming to this hotel. We’ll have 16 of these things before long!’ But life just couldn’t get better.”
The magazine reports the couple — due in September – are preparing Jagger to be a big brother, ”but he doesn’t quite understand yet,” Joe Don says. “I pray with him every night and we pray for his brother- or sister-to-be.”
Joe Don says they’ll find out the sex of the baby so Tiffany can “prepare the nest” — but so far they don’t agree on what it’ll be. He thinks it’ll be a girl; Tiffany predicts another boy.
