Craig Morgan is preparing to make his ninth trip to perform for U.S. troops stationed overseas as part of the Stars For Stripes tour. Craig will be in Iraq and Kuwait on the Not Alone tour January 27 through February 3.

“In addition to showing our support for the service men and women deployed, I find a growing sense of pride in the good our country does while on these visits,” said Craig. “We are not just fighting a war and helping people gain democracy and human rights in their own country, but our military is over there building hospitals and schools…modern structures and plumbing that didn’t exist before 9/11.”

Craig made his first trip overseas in 2003. For his ninth trip, he is taking a full band and promising service men and women a high energy show. In addition to playing five shows at five camps, he will also play acoustic sets at several remote Forward Operating Bases for troops who seldom receive celebrity entertainment. Continue Reading

Craig Morgan, Chris Young, and GAC host Nan Kelley are joining forces with Stars For Stripes (SFS), Great American Country (GAC)  and Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) to bring hardworking service members overseas a much-needed taste of home.

The Stars For Stripes tour will visit military bases and hospitals in Iraq and Germany this month for a series of acoustic concerts, courtesy of RCA recording artist Chris Young and BNA recording artist Craig Morgan.  Chris is currently celebrating his first No. 1 on the Billboard chart with “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song) while Craig’s “Bonfire” is close behind at No. 12.  GAC host Nan Kelley will serve as guest emcee at each tour stop.

“This will be my sixth trip to entertain and visit with the men and women of the Armed Forces,” says Craig, who was the first artist to perform on a Stars For Stripes/AFE event in 2003.  Continue Reading
