Brooks & Dunn announced today on their website that hey will have to postpone and reschedule dates on their The Last Rodeo Tour due to illness. At the recommendation of his doctor, Ronnie Dunn was put on vocal rest for 3 weeks. Ronnie sent a message about the situation via text message saying, “Following my doctor’s order, shutting up, getting well and comin’ back asap!”
In addition to the rescheduled dates, the tour stops on June 29th in Milwaukee, WI and July 8th in Fort Loramie, OH will not be rescheduled.
The Last Rodeo Tour revised schedule is as follows:
(All tickets will be honored on the new dates and tickets remain available at livenation.com. All the details and benefits of the VIP packages will be honored, including the dinner on the evening before the September 2 show. The dinner’s new date is September 1.)

With the help of a text-message vote, Brooks & Dunn sang “My Maria” during its final duet appearance on the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, then came back to claim one more trophy — their 16th as the Top Vocal Duo — from the Academy.
Still, it wasn’t quite their last moment of ACM glory. In fact, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn return Monday to the same venue, the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, to shoot an entire CBS special with the Academy, “ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn — The Last Rodeo.” A bunch of artists from Sunday’s presentation will stay in Nevada to salute Kix and Ronnie, including Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum.

When Brooks & Dunn announced Aug. 10 that they were calling it quits, they promised to make one final tour to tell their fans goodbye.
Set to begin April 23 in Sacramento, the Last Rodeo Tour will come to a halt almost exactly one year after they told fans they were leaving. The final date on the 47-city itinerary takes place Aug. 8 in Chicago.
The duo goes out on a high note. They’ve won 19 Country Music Association awards during their career, second only to George Strait, and “Cowgirls Don’t Cry” is in the running for a Grammy. They recently earned a hit with “Honky Tonk Stomp,” featuring ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.
