Grand Ole Opry To Kick Off CMA Music Festival With Star-Studded Lineup

Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban, as well as Lennon and Maisy Stella from ABC’s Nashville are all set to perform as the Grand Ole Opry kicks off its CMA Music Festival Week with two star-studded shows on June 4. Lee Brice and Tyler Farr will perform earlier in the afternoon during an Opry Plaza Party.

Other Opry performances during CMA Music Festival include the celebration of Carrie Underwood’s 5th anniversary as an Opry member on June 7. Mel Tillis and Charley Pride plus many more are also set for the June lineup. Continue Reading

Sara Evans Will Kick Off Riverfront Stage Performances at CMA Music Festival

Nearly 50 artists have been confirmed for the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage during CMA Music Festival June 6-9 in downtown Nashville. Sara Evans will kick off the performances on June 6 at 10 a.m. This marks the first time she has opened the festival.

Tyler Farr has released the video for his single “Hello Goodbye,” which is currently climbing the charts. You can unlock the video on his website and also receive a download of the track. Final Lineup for BamaJam 2012 Announced

Tim McGraw, Kid Rock & Zac Brown Band will headline BamaJam 2012.

BamaJam 2012 has announced the addition of more than 35 acts to this year’s multi-genre lineup. Among the artists joining the festival are Dustin Lynch, The Farm, The Lost Trailers, Randy Montana, Tyler Farr and Greg Bates. Previously announced country artists include Tim McGraw, Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Casey James, Uncle Kracker, Ronnie Milsap, Jamey Johnson and more. BamaJam will take place June 14-16 in Enterprise, Alabama.

“With these last acts announced, fans know exactly what they’re getting when they purchase tickets,” Rendy Lovelady, executive producer of the festival, said. “With non-stop entertainment from our four stages, BamaJam 2012 is going to be like nothing you’ve ever experienced.”

Fans will experience non-stop music from dual headline stages at BamaJam Farms. The festival site also includes a new waterpark, ATV trails, camping sites, and a golf course. This year, BamaJam will offer the VIP Artist Area ticket, giving fans access to get up close and personal to stars while they’re performing.

This is the last week to purchase 3-day BamaJam passes for the discounted price of $119. The price will increase to $135 on Monday, May 14. CMA Music Festival Announces Two Stage Lineups

The lineup for the 2012 CMA Music Festival’s Bud Light Stage at the Bridgestone Plaza and the new BIC Soleil Bella Beach Stage have been announced. The two concerts will provide fans with over 40 hours of concerts for free. The CMA Music Festival takes place June 7-10. “Live music is a hallmark of CMA Music Festival and we are excited to be able to add a new stage and even more performances this year,” Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer, said.

The BIC Soleil Bella Beach Stage is a new addition to this year’s CMA Music Festival with concerts and activities starting at 11:00 AM/CT each day during the Festival. The Bud Light Stage at Bridgestone Arena Plaza, at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Broadway, is a fan favorite and a great place to catch up and coming country artists.

Colt Ford to Release Third Studio Album

Colt Ford is gearing up to release his third studio album, Every Chance I Get, on May 3. The first single from the album, “Country Thang,” is at radio now and features co-writer and Billboard No. 1 Songwriter of 2010, Dallas Davidson on vocals. A special album-only version of the track features Eric Church. Other guest vocalists making appearances on the album are Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Josh Thompson, Craig Morgan, Frankie Ballard and more. Colt is most proud of the track “She Likes To Ride In Trucks.”

“I wrote this song for my daughter [Annesly],” Colt said. “She’s 16, coming of age, and I’m not the man in her life anymore, her boyfriend is. She wants to do her own thing, chase her own dreams, and she doesn’t need me as much as she used to. Whenever I do this song live, it’ll choke me up.
